Juan Matai started the match with the kick off. Ruperto Tano charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruperto Tano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anquincila's Amado Beliran couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cadetes de San Martin. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erubiel Orti in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Romano saved Cadetes de San Martin from getting behind. In the 23rd minute of the match, Juan Matai tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcos Mergildo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Juan Matai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Mergildo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cadetes de San Martin's Joaquin Tulio got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 41stth minute of the game Erubiel Orti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cadetes de San Martin's Bruno Romano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cadetes de San Martin's Orlando Derwin got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Juan Matai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Marcos Mergildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Cadetes de San Martin's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Orti came free, but Bruno Romano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orlando Derwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Mergildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Derwin in the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Julian Corderun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anquincila's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cadetes de San Martin the free kick. The supporters of Cadetes de San Martin booed when Anquincila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Corderun didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Orlando Derwin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Mergildo was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. When Juan Matai came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Cadetes de San Martin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Matai couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Justino Mincho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Erubiel Orti took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Bruno Romano to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Matai in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Mergildo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 91 minutes into the game, Orlando Derwin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Marcos Mergildo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Justino Mincho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Anquincila players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cadetes de San Martin.
