Anquincila's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Serafin Ledesma ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Anquincila's goalie and right to Teofilo Blanco. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Anquincila's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a defensive mix-up in Anquincila's zone, Emiliano Ihazintu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Mergildo came out of the goal and Emiliano Ihazintu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute of the match Ermegildo Che shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Mergildo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 15 minutes, Justino Mincho made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ballester fc's Miguel Gudesteo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ballester fc's Emiliano Ihazintu got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emiliano Ihazintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Justino Mincho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anquincila's supporters rose to their feet, but Justino Mincho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Gudesteo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Ballester fc's Miguel Gudesteo got control of the ball when Justino Mincho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Melchor Carlomagno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ballester fc's zone, Justino Mincho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Gudesteo came out of the goal and Justino Mincho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvio Odol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Mergildo having to interfere. If Emiliano Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Paskal to strike the kick off in the second half. Emiliano Ihazintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Paskal in the 61st minute of play forced Anquincila's goalkeeper Marcos Mergildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Justino Mincho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Gudesteo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justino Mincho struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Miguel Gudesteo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anquincila. In the 67th minute of the match Eliseo Carlomagno shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miguel Gudesteo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 74th minute, Tomas Paskal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcos Mergildo came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Ballester fc's Emiliano Ihazintu. But to his dismay, Emiliano Ihazintu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Julian Corderun kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Emiliano Ihazintu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Marcos Mergildo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Miguel Gudesteo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Orti in the 86th minute of play. After 88 played minutes, Anquincila's Amado Beliran shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Miguel Gudesteo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Anquincila reached it. Justino Mincho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Gudesteo having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teofilo Blanco during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Teofilo Blanco kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Ballester fc players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Anquincila from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
