Talacasto AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 11th minute Cleto Bembe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Mergildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cleto Bembe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, one of Anquincila:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Anquincila. Anquincila:s Marcos Mergildo showed great skill when he stopped Inocencio Checa:s penalty. In the 24th minute, Justino Mincho made a precise shot to the right of Raimundo Ponce. Talacasto AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Justino Mincho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Ponce having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Cleto Bembe fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 35th minute of the match Amado Beliran shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raimundo Ponce showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Justino Mincho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Anquincila's Justino Mincho in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Talacasto AFC's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erubiel Orti to strike the kick off in the second half. Pascual Urki got in the 59th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Marcos Mergildo handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Anquincila's Erubiel Orti ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Raimundo Ponce. Justino Mincho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Raimundo Ponce made a huge save. In the 68th minute, Apolo Obano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Anquincila defense, Pascual Urki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Mergildo. The Anquincila fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Mergildo should have stopped the shot. After having played for 77 minutes, Justino Mincho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anquincila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justino Mincho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Erubiel Orti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erubiel Orti was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Justino Mincho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Talacasto AFC's Raimundo Ponce got control of the ball when Justino Mincho tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Anquincila could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Talacasto AFC throughout the match.
