Urbano Oidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Miguel Gudesteo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Paskal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfonso Luar. That made the score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Tercero in the 32nd minute of play forced Ballester fc's goalkeeper Miguel Gudesteo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ballester fc's Miguel Gudesteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Tercero in the 35th minute of play. In the 43rdth minute of the game Urbano Oidor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballester fc's Miguel Gudesteo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miguel Gudesteo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Tercero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Paskal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Paskal kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd match minute, La Patria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Vigil to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the La Patria FC defense, Emiliano Ihazintu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfonso Luar. The La Patria FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfonso Luar should have stopped the shot. Silvio Odol kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Patria FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! After 78 played minutes Ballester fc got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Odol. Miguel Gudesteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Tercero, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. When Ballester fc's Tomas Paskal in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Patria FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Emiliano Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Emiliano Ihazintu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfonso Luar. La Patria FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emiliano Ihazintu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 89th match minute, La Patria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Prejun to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Gudesteo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Tercero in the 93rd minute of the match. A collision led to La Patria FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ubaldo Ondino hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ballester fc had won after a very even match.
