The referee ignored Estrugamou FC's protests and gave Dalmacio Jaunti a yellow card for diving instead. Fabian Quinteros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilfredo Gitano in the 14th minute. Carmelo Venceslao might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Jorrin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carmelo Venceslao ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Estrugamou FC's zone, Wilfredo Gitano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Quinteros came out of the goal and Wilfredo Gitano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22ndth minute of the game Angelo Jurdan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estrugamou FC's Fabian Quinteros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Wilfredo Gitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Wilfredo Gitano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabian Quinteros came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Burundanga FC's Wilfredo Gitano. But to his dismay, Wilfredo Gitano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Burundanga FC's Dante Jorrin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Bastian in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carmelo Venceslao to strike the kick off in the second half. Guaberto Bastian in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dante Jorrin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some careless play in the Estrugamou FC defense, Wilfredo Gitano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabian Quinteros. The Estrugamou FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabian Quinteros should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute, Angelo Jurdan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Burundanga FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Fabian Quinteros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Jurdan in the 71st minute of the match. Estrugamou FC's Carmelo Venceslao got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabian Quinteros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Gitano in the 77th minute of play. Angelo Mino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Quinteros having to interfere. When Burundanga FC's Angelo Jurdan in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Estrugamou FC's goalie prevented a goal. Angelo Jurdan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabian Quinteros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Guaberto Bastian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrugamou FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guaberto Bastian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Jorrin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guaberto Bastian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carmelo Venceslao charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carmelo Venceslao the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 95 played minutes Estrugamou FC got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Venceslao. After recieving a nice pass, Burundanga FC's Patricio Bermudez tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
