Spectators: 6670 (Terracing: 5001, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emanuel Louis kicked off to start the match. Urbano Haritzeder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florencio Tartalo went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 14 minutes, Eriberto Suarez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chacarita FC and the CA Leones players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Chacarita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Tartalo to maneuver through the defense. Eriberto Suarez kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, CA Leones's Rodolfo Inocente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hernan Dorio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 31st minute, Florencio Tartalo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Urbano Haritzeder was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Florencio Tartalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florencio Tartalo took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Urbano Haritzeder. Urbano Haritzeder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After 45 minutes, Anastasio Gaitano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA Leones and the Chacarita FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anastasio Gaitano kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florencio Tartalo to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in CA Leones's zone, Cesar Nardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbano Haritzeder came out of the goal and Cesar Nardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florencio Tartalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Urbano Haritzeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Cesar Nardo took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Urbano Haritzeder to make any attempt to save it. Chacarita FC's Hernan Dorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Louis in the 68th minute of play. Cesar Nardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florencio Tartalo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. Chacarita FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 71 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Inocente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CA Leones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chacarita FC the free kick. In the 71st match minute, CA Leones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Inocente to maneuver through the defense. Hernan Dorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Louis, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Florencio Tartalo could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Urbano Haritzeder however easily saved by the left post. Chacarita FC's Higinio Guter got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Florencio Tartalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urbano Haritzeder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florencio Tartalo in the 89th minute. Cesar Nardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 96 minutes, Florencio Tartalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chacarita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florencio Tartalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
