After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Norberto Ellande managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pauleta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Ellande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Benat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esteve Balesio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Martin Benat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alejandro Sayveon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Poncio in the 10th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Tuyutí AFC's Fausto Lope nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alejandro Sayveon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Esteve Balesio's late challenge caught a Tuyutí AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteve Balesio helped the player get up and apologised. Reynaldo Tino charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reynaldo Tino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Reynaldo Tino kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Esteve Balesio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Benat having to interfere. If Marcial Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alejandro Sayveon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Poncio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliseo Maule made a kick off. The supporters of Tuyutí AFC booed when Pauleta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alejandro Sayveon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Poncio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute Marcial Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Benat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tuyutí AFC's Romeo Eleder got a free kick in the 56th minute. Martin Benat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Balesio in the 57th minute of the match. Fausto Lope's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alejandro Sayveon firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tuyutí AFC's Eliseo Maule got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a long run with the ball, Marcial Garcia did a trick in the 67th minute in front of Tuyutí AFC's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-2. An impressive performance by Pauleta FC's Marcial Garcia! Norberto Ellande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Esteve Balesio came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Pauleta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteve Balesio couldn't finish the play. Alejandro Sayveon made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Fausto Lope sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteve Balesio in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Benat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alejandro Sayveon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Maule, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Esteve Balesio might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Benat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Esteve Balesio ran back to his position shaking his head. Pauleta FC's Alejandro Sayveon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Maule in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Balesio in the 89th minute of play forced Tuyutí AFC's goalkeeper Martin Benat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Pauleta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Maule came free, but Alejandro Sayveon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Pauleta FC's Alejandro Sayveon got control of the ball when Reynaldo Tino tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of Tuyutí AFC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Pauleta FC side.
