After a rather tough play, Chacarita FC's Hermengildo Rik got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Florencio Tartalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florencio Tartalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute of the match Hermengildo Rik shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisco Bartoli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cesar Nardo took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Bartoli. Francisco Bartoli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 31st minute Florencio Tartalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Bartoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Bartoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Guter, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When Cesar Nardo came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Chacarita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesar Nardo couldn't finish the play. After 37 played minutes Chacarita FC got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Rik. Hernan Dorio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Garaona in the 40th minute of the match. Florencio Tartalo might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Bartoli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florencio Tartalo ran back to his position shaking his head. Florencio Tartalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Bartoli having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florencio Tartalo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Angelo Garaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hernan Dorio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Francisco Bartoli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cesar Nardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Francisco Bartoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Ceandro hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the game, Eriberto Suarez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Francisco Bartoli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Florencio Tartalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Efrain Beltza hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Patricio Honesto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hernan Dorio. Chacarita FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Florencio Tartalo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Florencio Tartalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesar Nardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Bartoli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cesar Nardo ran back to his position shaking his head. The Estomba FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chacarita FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
