Deportivo Charuto's supporters rose to their feet, but Clodoveo Sayveon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Iratxo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Iratxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Sayveon in the 10th minute of play. Francisco Iratxo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Austin, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Clodoveo Sayveon might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Iratxo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When Clodoveo Sayveon came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Deportivo Charuto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Sayveon couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Sayveon in the 62nd minute of play forced Los Picachu's goalkeeper Francisco Iratxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clodoveo Sayveon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Iratxo having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Elias Eate got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deportivo Charuto played a much better game than Los Picachu and deserved their victory. The Los Picachu players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
