Godofredo Veremundo came out of the goal and Rosendo Acuña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serafin Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafin Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Veremundo having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Carmelo Soter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Las Tortugas de Lujan's Serafin Valente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Godofredo Veremundo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Modesto Vito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Lázaro Danel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Cresencio in the 53rd minute of play. After 57 minutes of play, Las Tortugas de Lujan's Rosendo Acuña made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Godofredo Veremundo was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Aurken in the 63rd minute of play forced Las Tortugas de Lujan's goalkeeper Lázaro Danel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Armando Aurken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amancio Aresti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. TOMBA FC's Godofredo Veremundo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save TOMBA FC from getting a goal against them. Serafin Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Godofredo Veremundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Las Tortugas de Lujan defense, Armando Aurken kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lázaro Danel. The Las Tortugas de Lujan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lázaro Danel should have stopped the shot. Rosendo Acuñas short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Godofredo Veremundo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Serafin Valente kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Godofredo Veremundo. That made the score 1-2 in the 89 minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Rosendo Acuña cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Godofredo Veremundo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle sounded Las Tortugas de Lujan left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than TOMBA FC.
