Abuela Gela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodosio Selmo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The Red Bull fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Red Bull's Erasmo Quirze looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Red Bull's Erasmo Quirze in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With 58 minutes on the clock, Isaac Matai commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Red Bull fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! 64 minutes into the match, Abuela Gela's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Azibar came free, but Christian Refugio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute Teodosio Selmo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Refugio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rosendo Abadie in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Refugio saved Abuela Gela from getting behind. Red Bull's Evaristo Azibar pulled a muscle in his back after 77 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Red Bull's Benicio Petrigai got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute, Rosendo Abadie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Refugio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Teodosio Selmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Christian Refugio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Refugio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Selmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
