Cristian Frichoso came out of the goal and Erasmo Quirze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Red Bull's Erasmo Quirze got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramiro Petrigai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Iaki, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Iaki in the 14th minute of play forced Red Bull's goalkeeper Ramiro Petrigai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardino Gorri's late challenge caught a Red Bull's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardino Gorri helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Galacticos F.C's Bernardino Gorri got a free kick in the 15th minute. Ramiro Petrigai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Iaki in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Iaki in the 28th minute of play forced Red Bull's goalkeeper Ramiro Petrigai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Erasmo Quirze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Galacticos F.C's Maximiliano Abaunza got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute of the match Eustacio Lander shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristian Frichoso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 41st minute of the match Moises Primo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristian Frichoso skillfully saved the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Victorino Vermudo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Red Bull's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galacticos F.C the free kick. In the 43rd minute, Victorino Vermudo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Galacticos F.C's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 45th minute of the game, when Bernardino Gorri after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Red Bull's goal. Bernardino Gorri was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. After 47 minutes, Erasmo Quirze made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Galacticos F.C's Cristian Frichoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amador Iaki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Victorino Vermudo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristian Frichoso. Galacticos F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Red Bull's Benicio Petrigai quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Maximiliano Abaunza, made in the 67th minute of the game. Erasmo Quirze struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Cristian Frichoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Bull. Victorino Vermudo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristian Frichoso. Galacticos F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Teodosio Selmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erasmo Quirze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Cristian Frichoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Filomeno Eron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Bull's supporters rose to their feet, but Filomeno Eron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Frichoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erasmo Quirze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erasmo Quirze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramiro Petrigai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Pirro in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Red Bull left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Galacticos F.C.
