Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Fero got the match started through his kick off. After 2 minutes, Niceto Beti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pichaihué and the Elertondo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Niceto Beti hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Elertondo FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Alfonso Rumaldo scored to the left of an out of position Bartolo Dantae, making the score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Pichaihué's zone, Joel Fero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amancio Enetz came out of the goal and Joel Fero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldo Teodor during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Osvaldo Teodor hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Pichaihué's Jacinto Goiz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Elertondo FC. Alfonso Rumaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Dantae having to interfere. Alfonso Rumaldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Bartolo Dantae made a huge save. Bartolo Dantae was a little too slow when Alfonso Rumaldo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-0. The supporters of Elertondo FC booed when Pichaihué was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Eron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartolo Dantae made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Alfonso Rumaldo sent off a good shot on target. Bartolo Dantae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Ortzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Elertondo FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Serafin Sabin hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florencio Ortzi got free with Bartolo Dantae in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bartolo Dantae made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfonso Rumaldo in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elertondo FC's goalkeeper Bartolo Dantae, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Elertondo FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Serafin Sabin hit a great ball. Florencio Ortzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfonso Rumaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Dantae having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florencio Ortzi to make the kick off. Bartolo Dantae came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pichaihué's Alfonso Rumaldo. But to his dismay, Alfonso Rumaldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. A collision led to Elertondo FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Serafin Sabin hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfonso Rumaldo during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florencio Ortzi in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bartolo Dantae prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 73 minutes, Alfonso Rumaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pichaihué's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Rumaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Alfonso Rumaldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bartolo Dantae was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Florencio Ortzi struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Bartolo Dantae didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pichaihué. Bartolo Dantae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Rumaldo in the 79th minute of play. Serafin Sabin struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Amancio Enetz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elertondo FC. In the 86th minute, Florencio Ortzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bartolo Dantae was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Bartolo Dantae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Rumaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Alfonso Rumaldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bartolo Dantae was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Bernardino Sanduru's late challenge caught a Pichaihué's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardino Sanduru helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd match minute, Elertondo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Sanduru to maneuver through the defense. Alfonso Rumaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Bartolo Dantae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Elertondo FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pichaihué.
