Rosendo Acuña let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 13th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. If Serafin Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Las Tortugas de Lujan's Rosendo Acuña got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Serafin Valente came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Las Tortugas de Lujan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafin Valente couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute Aaron Turi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Danel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Las Tortugas de Lujan's Lázaro Danel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Primo in the 24th minute of play. Serafin Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Serafin Valente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Las Tortugas de Lujan's Rosendo Acuña got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rosendo Acuña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Matia having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Mederi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Muñoz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Las Tortugas de Lujan the free kick. The supporters of Las Tortugas de Lujan booed when Muñoz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Mederi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Matia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Valente in the 42nd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Turi got free with Lázaro Danel in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aaron Turi came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lázaro Danel could save by the left post.
