Spectators: 7258 (Terracing: 5445, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Celedonio Bernat started the match with the kick off. When Bernardino Eneto fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perdido's protests and gave Bernardino Eneto a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lions Pride FC booed when Perdido was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Eneto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Celedonio Bernat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lions Pride FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Bernat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabricio Derwin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jacinto Tono came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Lions Pride FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Tono couldn't finish the play. After 39 played minutes Perdido got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Paskal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Bernat in the 42nd minute of play forced Perdido's goalkeeper Fabricio Derwin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonatan Toribio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Celedonio Bernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 played minutes Lions Pride FC got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Perpinya. The Perdido players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lions Pride FC were winning 0-1.

Desiderio Honesto's late challenge caught a Lions Pride FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Desiderio Honesto helped the player get up and apologised. Desiderio Honesto hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. If Celedonio Bernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genaro Theodore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Paskal in the 76th minute of play. Celedonio Bernat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Fabricio Derwin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lions Pride FC's goalkeeper Genaro Theodore, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Genaro Theodore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Gonza's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Genaro Theodore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Paskal in the 88th minute of the match. Lions Pride FC's Jonatan Toribio got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lions Pride FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
