Spectators: 7190 (Terracing: 5394, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 143) Haroldo Vargas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Nereo Teyo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabricio Derwin. Perdido's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nereo Teyo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After having played for 35 minutes, Felipe Paskal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Perdido's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Paskal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Omar Gonza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Basilio Rubio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Gonza in the 41st minute of play forced Belgrano's goalkeeper Basilio Rubio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Omar Gonza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Rubio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabricio Derwin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The Perdido players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Belgrano were winning 0-3.
