Spectators: 6664 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulino Sagrario started the match with the kick off. Urbano Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Jordy in the 3rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Chañar AFC defense, Paulino Sagrario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Urbano Perez. The Chañar AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urbano Perez should have stopped the shot. Placido Maiorga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Saul Quin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Maiorga in the 17th minute of play forced Diego Marado's goalkeeper Saul Quin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Inge hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 20 played minutes Chañar AFC got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Ekaitz. Ermegildo Jordy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Perez having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Chañar AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Sagrario came free, but Urbano Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saul Quin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Maiorga in the 29th minute of play. Ermegildo Jordy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Urbano Perez having to make a save. In the 33rd minute, Serafin Amor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Justo Gervaso struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Saul Quin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chañar AFC. After 37 minutes of play, Diego Marado's Paulino Sagrario made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Urbano Perez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Saul Quin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Maiorga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Placido Maiorga made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Chañar AFC booed when Diego Marado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Sansone didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robustiano Osorio helped the player get up and apologised. After 76 played minutes Chañar AFC got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Osorio. Paulino Sagrario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Urbano Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baltasar Celino hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Saul Quin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Maiorga, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Diego Marado played a much better game than Chañar AFC and deserved their victory. The Chañar AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
