After a defensive mix-up in Ledesma AFC's zone, Godfredo Basajaun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Medina came out of the goal and Godfredo Basajaun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the match, Ledesma AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Pierres came free, but Miguel Medina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godfredo Basajaun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Miguel Medina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulino Pierres in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Medina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Godfredo Basajaun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Medina having to interfere. In the 18th minute Paulino Pierres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Medina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Ledesma AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Basajaun came free, but Miguel Medina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulino Pierres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Godfredo Basajaun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GUARDIANES DEL SUR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Octavio Matxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Ibañez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes, Godfredo Basajaun made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ledesma AFC's Miguel Medina tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 36 minutes into the game, Anselmo Vito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Octavio Matxin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Eleuterio Ibañez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Anselmo Vito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eleuterio Ibañez in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octavio Matxin saved GUARDIANES DEL SUR from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Eleuterio Ibañez made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the game, Paulino Pierres recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Miguel Medina. Paulino Pierres showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Octavio Matxin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Ibañez in the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Anselmo Vito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Matxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 2-3 became the score in the 70th minute when Anselmo Vito elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Anselmo Vito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octavio Matxin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Eleuterio Ibañez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The GUARDIANES DEL SUR supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GUARDIANES DEL SUR would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
