Aristides Montrelle's late challenge caught a Los pochoclitos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aristides Montrelle helped the player get up and apologised. Aristides Montrelle kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The supporters of Los pochoclitos booed when Ledesma AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Ibañez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Efrain Macerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Medina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efrain Macerio in the 19th minute. After 23 minutes Ledesma AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Matias Natanael who took care of the corner kick. Los pochoclitos's Virgilio Senio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Ibañez in the 26th minute of play. Matias Natanael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Medina having to interfere. Miguel Medina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matias Natanael's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Efrain Macerio got free with Miguel Medina in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute, Erubiel Gai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Los pochoclitos's zone, Anselmo Vito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Senio came out of the goal and Anselmo Vito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Matias Natanael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Medina having to interfere. Cornelio Francesco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Miguel Medina. Ledesma AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Matias Natanael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Medina having to interfere. A collision led to Los pochoclitos getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Erubiel Gai hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Los pochoclitos's Efrain Macerio got a free kick in the 69th minute. Ledesma AFC's Blas Lehoi got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Efrain Macerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anselmo Vito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Virgilio Senio made a huge save. Americo Frasco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Virgilio Senio having to make a save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
