He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pink Panters reached it. Ulises Satordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Quilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Orlando Quilo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulises Satordi having to make a save. A collision led to Chira FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Salvador Ciceron hit a great ball. Baldomiro Mederi's late challenge caught a Pink Panters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomiro Mederi helped the player get up and apologised. Pink Panters were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Chira FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Silvio Sedeni took the corner. Orlando Quilo charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orlando Quilo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Chira FC's zone, Silvio Sedeni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Rafe came out of the goal and Silvio Sedeni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Diego Artal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godfredo Corderro's late challenge caught a Chira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godfredo Corderro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Chira FC booed when Pink Panters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Corderro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulises Satordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Urtun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vicente Clemencin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltasar Rafe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Luis Urtun made the kick off in the second half. When the match had been going on for 53 minutes, Chira FC's Eleuterio Suarez got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ulises Satordi. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chira FC! After 65 played minutes Pink Panters got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Bernad. With his leg Ulises Satordi managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Chira FC's Orlando Quilo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Urtun in the 69th minute of play forced Pink Panters's goalkeeper Ulises Satordi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pink Panters's zone, Orlando Quilo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulises Satordi came out of the goal and Orlando Quilo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chira FC's Luis Urtun got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orlando Quilo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Ulises Satordi made a huge save. When Rodolfo Maurino fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pink Panters's protests and gave Rodolfo Maurino a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pink Panters's Rodolfo Maurino got a free kick in the 90th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Pink Panters's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Urtun came free, but Ulises Satordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 99th minute, Chira FC's Luis Urtun ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ulises Satordi. Ulises Satordi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2.
