If Severiano Valentine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Club Atlético Patrón getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Alvaro Paul hit a great ball. Arnaldo Frechoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efrain Macerio in the 29th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Los pochoclitos's Benigno Totakoxe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnaldo Frechoso. That made the score 4-0 after 31 minutes of play. Virgilio Senio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Caetano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efrain Macerio kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Benigno Totakoxe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los pochoclitos's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Totakoxe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Frechoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Patrón's Jorge Corderun got a free kick in the 64th minute. Genaro Gurutz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-4. Many of Club Atlético Patrón's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Club Atlético Patrón may have spent more time on the ball, but Los pochoclitos were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
