In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Jamaica FC's goalkeeper Niceto Tonio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Oalo in the 29th minute of play forced Talleres's goalkeeper Wilfredo Aureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Jamaica FC's goalkeeper Niceto Tonio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute Benedicto Poncio suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After a rather tough play, Jamaica FC's Ulises Giraldo got a free kick in the 40th minute. Ramiro Clis charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Niceto Tonio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laureano Jaume in the 45th minute. Ildefonso Salvator kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Venancio Benvido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Godfredo Qwinton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laureano Jaume fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Tonio having to interfere. After having played for 70 minutes, Guaberto Mogel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Mogel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venancio Benvido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Wilfredo Aureo made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Jamaica FC's Godfredo Qwinton got a free kick in the 78th minute. Laureano Jaume fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Tonio having to interfere. Wilfredo Aureo made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Venancio Benvido sent off a good shot on target. Venancio Benvido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilfredo Aureo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godfredo Qwinton in the 92nd minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
