Marcos Admon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Poncio in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Leo Nerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Aureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Talleres getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Carmelo Daunte hit a great ball. Wilfredo Aureo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guaberto Mogel to strike the kick off in the second half. Danny Sparrow blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilfredo Aureo having to make a save. 58 minutes into the match, Cuervo FC's goalkeeper Marcos Admon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laureano Jaume. With an all-out effort, Talleres's Marcos Admon threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Guaberto Mogel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danny Sparrow in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilfredo Aureo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ovidio Iraido's late challenge caught a Talleres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovidio Iraido helped the player get up and apologised. Ovidio Iraido hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Marcos Admon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laureano Jaume in the 68th minute. Manole Valerian kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Marcos Admon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Mogel in the 71st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Benedicto Poncio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Admon. That made the score 4-3 in the 80 minute of play. A collision led to Talleres getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Benedicto Poncio hit a great ball. When Cuervo FC's Danny Sparrow in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Talleres's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cuervo FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Talleres had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
