Danny Sparrow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Tonio having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Cuervo FC's Danny Sparrow nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niceto Tonio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Jamaica FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Basilio Karmel hit a great ball. In the 38thth minute of the game Danny Sparrow who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jamaica FC's Niceto Tonio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute, Narciso Oalo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Admon. The goal made the score 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danny Sparrow to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Ulises Giraldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Admon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Robustiano Perrando cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Niceto Tonio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcos Admon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Oalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Jamaica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Perrando came free, but Niceto Tonio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jamaica FC's Niceto Tonio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Jamaica FC from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the match, Jamaica FC's goalkeeper Niceto Tonio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ovidio Iraido.
