An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Lordi in the 4th minute of play forced Jarill's goalkeeper Camilo Valentine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Lordi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Valentine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Camilo Valentine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Luty in the 7th minute of the match. Edmund Luty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Valentine having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Deportivo Neandertal's Edmund Luty nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Valentine made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Lucas Lordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jarill's goalkeeper Camilo Valentine, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Epifanio Unai fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jarill's protests and gave Epifanio Unai a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Deportivo Neandertal booed when Jarill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Unai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Palos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victoriano Restu having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Neandertal's Lucas Lordi got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Jarill's Cristian Palos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victoriano Restu. That made the score 1-1 after 23 minutes of play. When Edmund Luty came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Deportivo Neandertal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmund Luty couldn't finish the play. Epifanio Cebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Epifanio Cebo made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Valentine. Jarill's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. If Edmund Luty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Lordi struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Camilo Valentine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Neandertal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When Edmund Luty came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Deportivo Neandertal fans jumped to their feet. After 70 played minutes Deportivo Neandertal got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Incendio. In the 73rd minute, Epifanio Unai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victoriano Restu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Epifanio Cebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmund Luty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Camilo Valentine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jarill's goalkeeper Camilo Valentine, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lucas Lordi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Valentine having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santos Miliano during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes Jarill got a freekick which was hit by Santos Miliano. Deportivo Neandertal's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
