Spectators: 7240 (Terracing: 5432, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) Guaberto Mogel made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to Talleres getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Benedicto Poncio hit a great ball. With a little luck, Talleres's Wilfredo Aureo got control of the ball when Benedicto Lluques tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guaberto Mogel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Francisco Cordeara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilfredo Aureo came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Travesía's Benedicto Lluques. But to his dismay, Benedicto Lluques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Talleres's Guaberto Mogel in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Travesía's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Travesía's zone, Laureano Jaume stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Cordeara came out of the goal and Laureano Jaume tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilfredo Aureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Toli, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Francisco Cordeara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laureano Jaume went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Gualterio Toli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Aureo having to interfere. Talleres's Wilfredo Aureo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Talleres from getting a goal against them. 42 minutes into the match, Talleres's goalkeeper Wilfredo Aureo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedicto Lluques. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gualterio Toli to strike the kick off in the second half. Laureano Jaume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 56 minutes, Guaberto Mogel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Mogel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Travesía's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Mogel came free, but Francisco Cordeara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 61 minutes, Guaberto Mogel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Mogel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guaberto Mogel in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Cordeara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelino Viviano's late challenge caught a Talleres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelino Viviano helped the player get up and apologised. Marcelino Viviano hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. When Benedicto Lluques came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Travesía fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Lluques couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Gualterio Toli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Travesía's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualterio Toli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilfredo Aureo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Travesía's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Guaberto Mogel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Gualterio Toli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Lauro kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Travesía's zone, Guaberto Mogel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Cordeara came out of the goal and Guaberto Mogel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
