After 2 played minutes Jamaica FC got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Giraldo. Niceto Tonio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacobo Shepherd's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Shepherd in the 6th minute of play forced Jamaica FC's goalkeeper Niceto Tonio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Pucará booed when Jamaica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Qwinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonas Johans struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Niceto Tonio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pucará. When Godfredo Qwinton fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jamaica FC's protests and gave Godfredo Qwinton a yellow card for diving instead. Godfredo Qwinton hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Niceto Tonio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Johans in the 14th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Narciso Oalo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Felix Daunte. Narciso Oalo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Jacobo Shepherd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Niceto Tonio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Jamaica FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Menendo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Shepherd in the 26th minute of play forced Jamaica FC's goalkeeper Niceto Tonio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Narciso Oalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Daunte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Daunte made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Venancio Benvido sent off a good shot on target. Alfonso Bento's late challenge caught a Jamaica FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso Bento helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pucará! After a rather tough play, Jamaica FC's Basilio Karmel got a free kick in the 48th minute. After 49 played minutes, Pucará's Alfonso Bento shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Niceto Tonio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pucará reached it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Ulises Giraldo hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The supporters of Pucará booed when Jamaica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Fagondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobo Shepherd's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Niceto Tonio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 63rd minute, Jonas Johans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jamaica FC's Niceto Tonio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Johans in the 80th minute of play. When Jamaica FC's Narciso Oalo in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pucará's goalie prevented a goal. Niceto Tonio made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Jacobo Shepherd sent off a good shot on target. Pucará's Jacobo Shepherd got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonas Johans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Niceto Tonio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cecilio Calixto hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Pucará's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Jamaica FC had won, even though Pucará had held more of the ball.
