Julian Ramond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Toli in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Travesía's goalkeeper Francisco Cordeara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Higinio Salvator. Higinio Salvator blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisco Cordeara having to make a save. After having played for 30 minutes, Orlando Dacio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Travesía's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Dacio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Toli in the 35th minute of play forced Lezama AFC's goalkeeper Julian Ramond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lezama AFC's Higinio Salvator in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gualterio Toli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Travesía's Francisco Cordeara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Salvator in the 54th minute of play. After 60 played minutes, Lezama AFC's Fabio Etxekopar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francisco Cordeara came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lezama AFC reached it. In the 63rdth minute of the game Higinio Salvator who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Travesía's Francisco Cordeara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Siro Gaztea fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Travesía's protests and gave Siro Gaztea a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, Siro Gaztea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Higinio Salvator fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Cordeara having to interfere. When Alvaro Txindoki came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Lezama AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Txindoki couldn't finish the play. If Romulo Berbiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th play minute Benedicto Lluques came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Julian Ramond. 1-1. 79 minutes into the match, Travesía's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Berbiz came free, but Francisco Cordeara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Higinio Salvator made a precise shot to the right of Francisco Cordeara.
