Faraones FC's Nicasio Silban got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Daunte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilfredo Aureo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 13th minute Benedicto Poncio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Errolan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Faraones FC booed when Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Mogel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Salvator. When Faraones FC's Angelino Rioja in the 17th minute was rewarded a free kick he fired away a shot that almost found its way behind Talleres's defense, but the goalie threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball. Angelino Rioja tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Wilfredo Aureo. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 17th minute. Laureano Jaume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelo Errolan came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Talleres's Carmelo Daunte. But to his dismay, Carmelo Daunte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Laureano Jaume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Guaberto Mogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Nicasio Silban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laureano Jaume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Guaberto Mogel took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Marcelo Errolan to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicasio Silban was the one to do the kick off. Marcelo Errolan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Mogel in the 53rd minute of the match. Nicasio Silban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Faraones FC booed when Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Rioja didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Nicasio Silban's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilfredo Aureo was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Guaberto Mogel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Errolan having to interfere. Marcelo Errolan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Mogel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Carmelo Daunte fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talleres's protests and gave Carmelo Daunte a yellow card for diving instead. Carmelo Daunte hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Nicasio Silban's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilfredo Aureo was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. 78 minutes into the match, Guaberto Mogel notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Faraones FC's Marcelo Errolan. Marcelo Errolan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 85 minutes into the match, Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Silban came free, but Wilfredo Aureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Daunte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Faraones FC's Nicasio Silban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilfredo Aureo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Faraones FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jimeno Hustaz in the 90th minute. The corner ended in Jimeno Hustaz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Talleres's Wilfredo Aureo did a great save. Faraones FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
