Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Cordeara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmund Luty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Deportivo Neandertal's Victoriano Restu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Toli in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Toli in the 26th minute of play forced Deportivo Neandertal's goalkeeper Victoriano Restu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Luty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Francisco Cordeara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Cordeara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmund Luty's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 35thth minute of the game Edmund Luty who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Travesía's Francisco Cordeara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lucas Lordi might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Cordeara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucas Lordi ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucas Lordi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 47 played minutes Travesía got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Viviano. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

55 minutes into the game, Amancio Incendio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Neandertal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Travesía the free kick. A collision led to Deportivo Neandertal getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Amancio Incendio hit a great ball. Victoriano Restu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Toli, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Deportivo Neandertal's Edmund Luty managed to work through Travesía's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Edmund Luty dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 64th minute, Lucas Lordi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edmund Luty could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Francisco Cordeara made a huge save. Lucas Lordi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Cordeara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Deportivo Neandertal's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Gaztea came free, but Victoriano Restu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute Gualterio Toli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Restu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deportivo Neandertal's Lucas Lordi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ciro Lauro, made in the 83rd minute of the game. Edmund Luty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Francisco Cordeara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmund Luty did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Francisco Cordeara 86 minutes into the match. Edmund Luty could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Francisco Cordeara made a huge save. Edmund Luty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deportivo Neandertal were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Travesía to leave the ground with a draw.
