In the 25th minute, Trelew's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Juan Orozco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Orozco to make the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, 任铮昆 successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 68th minute, Eliseo Garin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Juan Orozco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Restu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Orozco in the 71st minute of the match. Nicanor Ishmael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. 任铮昆 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alonzo Nazario in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 任铮昆 saved Lions Xion from getting behind. 任铮昆 was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Alonzo Nazario capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alonzo Nazario really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. After 97 minutes, Esteve Oro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trelew and the Lions Xion players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Lions Xion manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Trelew to win.
