Curapaligüé AFC's Ramon Satordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Rodas in the 14th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, SentimientoPesquero's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Otsoa came free, but Paulo Fonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Curapaligüé AFC's Cristian Chico got a free kick in the 20th minute. Alfonso Astudillo in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ramon Satordi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Luis Rodas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ramon Satordi came out and tried to block the shot, but Luis Rodas slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 37th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Curapaligüé AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Rodas came free, but Ramon Satordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Luis Rodas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Satordi having to interfere. Emanuel Katia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Paulo Fonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonso Astudillo in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramon Satordi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SentimientoPesquero's Paulo Fonso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save SentimientoPesquero from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the match, SentimientoPesquero's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Katia came free, but Paulo Fonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Luis Rodas came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the SentimientoPesquero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Rodas couldn't finish the play. After recieving a nice pass, SentimientoPesquero's Zeledon Froila tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
