The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Inocencio Gaueko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matadores F C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inocencio Gaueko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Inocencio Gaueko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Enekoitz having to interfere. Mariano Bidari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Mikelar having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, DOGOS DEL PANACÁN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Opilano came free, but Leo Enekoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Justino Opilano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Enekoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Matadores F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Abad to maneuver through the defense. Rigoberto Asteri hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, DOGOS DEL PANACÁN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Opilano came free, but Leo Enekoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Inocencio Gaueko came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Matadores F C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inocencio Gaueko couldn't finish the play. Evaristo Mikelar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Inguma in the 33rd minute of play. Leo Enekoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Opilano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Inocencio Gaueko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, DOGOS DEL PANACÁN FC's goalkeeper Leo Enekoitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inocencio Gaueko. With a little luck, DOGOS DEL PANACÁN FC's Leo Enekoitz got control of the ball when Inocencio Gaueko tried to sneak it across the goal line.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Opilano in the 54th minute of play forced DOGOS DEL PANACÁN FC's goalkeeper Leo Enekoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56thth minute of the game Inocencio Gaueko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DOGOS DEL PANACÁN FC's Leo Enekoitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rigoberto Asteri kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Inocencio Gaueko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justino Opilano took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leo Enekoitz. Leo Enekoitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. A collision led to DOGOS DEL PANACÁN FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Teodosio Pancho hit a great ball. Godofredo Federigo kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Leo Enekoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Dalmu in the 81st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inocencio Gaueko in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leo Enekoitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justino Opilano in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Enekoitz saved DOGOS DEL PANACÁN FC from getting behind. Justino Opilano struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Leo Enekoitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matadores F C.
