Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) Quenumá's Ramon Piarres started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Embarcación FC's Rosendo Sidoro got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Blas Abalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Miro, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Fausto Indalecio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Abalos having to interfere. If Ignacio Miro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Indalecio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Embarcación FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Piarres came free, but Cosme Cesaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21stth minute of the game Fausto Indalecio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quenumá's Blas Abalos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fausto Indalecio struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Blas Abalos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Embarcación FC. In the 24th minute, Ignacio Miro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Indalecio in the 27th minute of play forced Quenumá's goalkeeper Blas Abalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blas Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Miro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Jesus Montrelle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Embarcación FC's zone, Ramon Piarres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosme Cesaro came out of the goal and Ramon Piarres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rosendo Sidoro hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Ramon Piarres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Cosme Cesaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fausto Indalecio to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Jesus Montrelle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quenumá's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesus Montrelle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosme Cesaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fausto Indalecio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Abalos having to interfere. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Jesus Montrelle sped through Embarcación FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cosme Cesaro. Embarcación FC's Cosme Cesaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Montrelle in the 62nd minute of play. Ignacio Miro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Blas Abalos managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Embarcación FC's Ignacio Miro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ramon Piarres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Cesaro having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramon Piarres in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosme Cesaro saved Embarcación FC from getting behind. After 82 minutes of play, Quenumá's Genaro Ostots made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cosme Cesaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ramon Piarres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Cesaro having to interfere. Bernardino Calixto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Cesaro having to interfere. Cosme Cesaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Piarres in the 92nd minute of play. Jesus Montrelle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Quenumá's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
