The score was now 2-0. 16 minutes into the match, San Fulgencio's goalkeeper Federico Veronica had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardino Berdoi. After having played for 30 minutes, Gonzalo Gabon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Fulgencio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo Gabon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Bermúdez booed when San Fulgencio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Perico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Rufo in the 37th minute of play. Federico Veronica was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Santo Rufo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 38 minute of play. Bernardino Berdoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geronimo Perico was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, San Fulgencio's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Rufo came free, but Federico Veronica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 57 minutes, Bernardino Berdoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a defensive mix-up in San Fulgencio's zone, Santo Rufo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Veronica came out of the goal and Santo Rufo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute Bernardino Berdoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Veronica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 played minutes San Fulgencio got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Niguel. Bernardino Berdoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santo Rufo might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Federico Veronica. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santo Rufo ran back to his position shaking his head. After 84 minutes of play, Bermúdez's Santo Rufo made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Federico Veronica was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bernardino Berdoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
