The crowd rose to their feet as Godfredo Rodriguez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jaime Nisio. That made the score 1-1 in the 32 minute of play. Jaime Nisio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Rodriguez in the 37th minute of play. Severino Claude charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severino Claude the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 played minutes Eagles F.C got a freekick which was hit by Severino Claude. In the 47th match minute, Eagles F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Mingo to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vladimiro Oihan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eagles F.C's Lorenzo Bilbo came free and shot a quick shot against goal 55 minutes in the game, fortunately Adrian Garin had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Zacarias Beturian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 2-1 became the score in the 59th minute when Godfredo Rodriguez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jaime Nisio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Rodriguez in the 65th minute of play. Lorenzo Bilbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Eagles F.C booed when Salinas Atletic Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Beturian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godfredo Rodriguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Nisio having to interfere. Jaime Nisio came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Salinas Atletic Club's Guaberto Bidun. But to his dismay, Guaberto Bidun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 82 minutes into the game, Vladimiro Oihan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eagles F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salinas Atletic Club the free kick. Vladimiro Oihan hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Godfredo Rodriguez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jaime Nisio having to make a save. Jaime Nisio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Bidun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Godfredo Rodriguez notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Eagles F.C's Jaime Nisio. Jaime Nisio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Godfredo Rodriguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
