In the 5th match minute, Bulo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Cidro to maneuver through the defense. Ignacio Lidons short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Francisco Aureo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zacarias Dorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Camilo Louis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bulo FC's zone, Ignacio Lidon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Aureo came out of the goal and Ignacio Lidon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mario Celipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Hualcama FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Celipe came free, but Camilo Louis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Generoso Toro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the game, one of Hualcama FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Bulo FC. Hualcama FC's Camilo Louis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Celipe in the 39th minute of play. Jacobo Lehen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Aureo having to interfere. Francisco Aureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Toro, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bulo FC's goalkeeper Francisco Aureo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Zacarias Dorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Generoso Toro to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Generoso Toro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hualcama FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Generoso Toro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mario Celipe might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Louis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mario Celipe ran back to his position shaking his head. If Zacarias Dorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
