Spectators: 6654 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eusebio Boni got the match started through his kick off. After some careless play in the Chancay defense, Aldo Sandaili kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejo Poncio. The Chancay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejo Poncio should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Trelew F.C's Silvio Enaut got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Leandro Bertin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eusebio Boni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Aristides Santxol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute of the match Teofilo Niva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aristides Santxol showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Leandro Bertin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aristides Santxol. Trelew F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leandro Bertin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Eusebio Boni got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alejo Poncio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Sandaili in the 39th minute of play. Alejo Poncio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Sandaili in the 44th minute of the match. In the 45thth minute of the game Benjamin Reynardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chancay's Alejo Poncio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aldo Sandaili made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Eusebio Boni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Trelew F.C defense, Leandro Bertin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aristides Santxol. The Trelew F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aristides Santxol should have stopped the shot. Leandro Bertin took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aristides Santxol. Aristides Santxol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After 63 minutes of play, Chancay's Leandro Bertin made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristides Santxol was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eusebio Boni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aristides Santxol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Baltasar Abecia hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Eusebio Boni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejo Poncio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldo Sandaili's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. With a little luck, Chancay's Alejo Poncio got control of the ball when Benjamin Reynardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aldo Sandaili could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Alejo Poncio made a huge save. Alejo Poncio made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Benjamin Reynardo sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute, Benjamin Reynardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chancay's Alejo Poncio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Chancay from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd match minute, Trelew F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Enaut to maneuver through the defense. Jimeno Ourente, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Leandro Bertin came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Chancay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Bertin couldn't finish the play. Chancay were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Trelew F.C for a fine match.
