Deportivo Martin Palermo's Maximiliano Urti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Martin Palermo from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ceferino Betadur during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benjamin Reynardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Urti having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Deportivo Martin Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Sandaili came free, but Maximiliano Urti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximiliano Urti came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Trelew F.C's Aldo Sandaili. But to his dismay, Aldo Sandaili quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Deportivo Martin Palermo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Trelew F.C.
