Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Severiano Afonso kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. During the 18th minute of the match Severiano Afonso completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Severiano Afonso a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 19th match minute, Deportivo Martin Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Afonso to maneuver through the defense. Ignacio Lidon struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Maximiliano Urti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hualcama FC. David Cucao's late challenge caught a Hualcama FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Cucao helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, Deportivo Martin Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Cucao to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the game, Hualcama FC's Generoso Toro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximiliano Urti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Hualcama FC's Generoso Toro got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Ignacio Lidon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximiliano Urti was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Maximiliano Urti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Toro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximiliano Urti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Toro, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dalmacio Jesco made a kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Hualcama FC got a corner. Deportivo Martin Palermo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Damaso Jenaro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Astor Lando tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Maximiliano Urti. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-0 in the 54th minute. In the 63rd minute, Generoso Toro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maximiliano Urti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Generoso Toro's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Saverio Guzman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Martin Palermo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hualcama FC the free kick. In the 72nd minute, Saverio Guzman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximiliano Urti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generoso Toro in the 76th minute of the match. Camilo Louis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dalmacio Jesco in the 88th minute. Hualcama FC's Julio Oskarbi got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximiliano Urti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Lidon, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Hualcama FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
