All Blacks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CARTABON F.C. the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, All Blacks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Matai to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the game, All Blacks's Emilio Matai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amado Orzaize made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the All Blacks defense, Clemente Lizer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horacio Iratze. The All Blacks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horacio Iratze should have stopped the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Valentin Dalmau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amado Orzaize. CARTABON F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Dalmau was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 20 played minutes Aquilino Cordarrol rounded All Blacks's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. Amado Orzaize took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Dalmau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amado Orzaize made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Dalmau in the 34th minute of play. Constantino Inguma's late challenge caught a All Blacks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantino Inguma helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes CARTABON F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Inguma. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aquilino Cordarrol was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Emilio Matai dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Amado Orzaize, 3-4. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind All Blacks's goalkeeper Horacio Iratze, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Clemente Lizer managed to get in a good position for a shot. CARTABON F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Lizer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horacio Iratze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elpidio Txema kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. CARTABON F.C.'s Aquilino Cordarrol got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 96 minutes into the game, Clemente Lizer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-4. Horacio Iratze was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
