An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Rocendo in the 19th minute of play forced Josecito's goalkeeper Tadeo Ciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Los Lechuzos getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Dario Marquez hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Josecito's Celestino Karmel got a free kick in the 24th minute. Tadeo Ciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Karlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience was convinced that Celso Karlo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeo Ciano was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Josecito's Tadeo Ciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Karlo in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Josecito's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Karlo came free, but Tadeo Ciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 77 minutes, Javier Gonzales managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Josecito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Gonzales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute, Javier Gonzales got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Los Lechuzos's Nicasio Anaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Gonzales in the 80th minute of play. Celso Karlo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Tadeo Ciano made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelio Rocendo got free with Tadeo Ciano in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celso Karlo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tadeo Ciano came out and tried to block the shot, but Celso Karlo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 84th minute. In the 91st minute of the match, Celso Karlo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tadeo Ciano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Josecito's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Celso Karlo scored to the left of an out of position Tadeo Ciano, making the score, 0-2.
