Nicasio Anaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Sindo in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Celso Karlo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amado Orzaize was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Aurelio Rocendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Orzaize having to interfere. CARTABON F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Celso Karlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aurelio Rocendo came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Los Lechuzos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Rocendo couldn't finish the play.

With a little luck, CARTABON F.C.'s Amado Orzaize got control of the ball when Aurelio Rocendo tried to sneak it across the goal line.
