Esteve Quintin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Batista having to interfere. After a rather tough play, La Naranja Mecanica's Gabriel Fix got a free kick in the 8th minute. Nemesio Batista made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Esteve Quintin sent off a good shot on target. Lucio Tiadoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Tiadoro in the 15th minute of play forced La Naranja Mecanica's goalkeeper Nemesio Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nicanor Pinto fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Naranja Mecanica's protests and gave Nicanor Pinto a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for La Naranja Mecanica! Nicanor Pinto hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Marcelo Orlanda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Gilen in the 33rd minute of the match. La Naranja Mecanica's Nemesio Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Tiadoro in the 34th minute of play. Lucio Tiadoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Batista having to interfere. The supporters of Hickmann AFC booed when La Naranja Mecanica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Admon didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Luis Paskal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteve Quintin struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Nemesio Batista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hickmann AFC. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oscar Gilen was the one to do the kick off. Adrian Uzuri charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Uzuri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Hickmann AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Adrian Uzuri hit a great ball. With his leg Marcelo Orlanda managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when La Naranja Mecanica's Luis Paskal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marcelo Orlanda made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Luis Paskal sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Hickmann AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Fernan Montrelle hit a great ball. Marcelo Orlanda made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Luis Paskal sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 74 minutes, Lucio Tiadoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hickmann AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucio Tiadoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nemesio Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Tiadoro in the 76th minute of play. When Lucio Tiadoro came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Hickmann AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucio Tiadoro couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Oscar Gilen managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Naranja Mecanica's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Gilen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Orlanda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nemesio Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Quintin in the 90th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hickmann AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while La Naranja Mecanica had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
