In the 6thth minute of the game Camilo Beltxe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Plate's Nicanor Nayely was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Braulio Olando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Chaime, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Concepción's Braulio Olando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Chaime in the 17th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Mincho. Aaron Mincho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Nicanor Nayely tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Gavino Nisio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gavino Nisio's late challenge caught a Concepción's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gavino Nisio helped the player get up and apologised. Gavino Nisio kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Ivan Rio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and River Plate's Nicanor Nayely didn't even have to move. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vinicio Montrel during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute Ulises Mero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Olando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Beltxe in the 68th minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Nicanor Nayely to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led to River Plate's Alvaro Peru getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Braulio Olando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Chaime in the 87th minute of play. Aaron Mincho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Nicanor Nayely made a huge save. Nicanor Nayely showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Beltxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
