Gonzalo Montiel hit a great ball. After some careless play in the A dos Toques defense, Angelino Leizarraga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Javier Corderall. The A dos Toques fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Javier Corderall should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute Angelino Leizarraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Corderall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edelmiro Nerio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Javier Corderall made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Montiel in the 27th minute of play forced Villaguay FC's goalkeeper Saul Oihan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Nerio in the 28th minute of play forced A dos Toques's goalkeeper Javier Corderall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzalo Montiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saul Oihan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Montiel in the 35th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Villaguay FC got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Jurdan. In the 41stth minute of the game Gonzalo Montiel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villaguay FC's Saul Oihan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silvio Belarmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Oihan having to interfere. Javier Corderall made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Sebastian Cesario sent off a good shot on target. Silvio Belarmo might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saul Oihan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvio Belarmo ran back to his position shaking his head. A dos Toques's Gonzalo Montiel got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonzalo Montiel was the one to do the kick off. Saul Oihan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 56th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Constantino Elazar. In the 57th minute, Edelmiro Nerio made a precise shot to the right of Javier Corderall. A dos Toques's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Saul Oihan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonzalo Montiel's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. If Silvio Belarmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Montiel in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saul Oihan saved Villaguay FC from getting behind. In the 69th minute, A dos Toques's Enrique Birjaio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Enrique Birjaio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of A dos Toques protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Enrique Birjaio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Villaguay FC booed when A dos Toques was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Birjaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, A dos Toques's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Leizarraga came free, but Javier Corderall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gonzalo Montiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Silvio Belarmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. A dos Toques's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvio Belarmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saul Oihan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gonzalo Montiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Oihan having to interfere. Gonzalo Montiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Saul Oihan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A dos Toques's Robustiano Ospetsu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 83rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Saul Oihan but with some difficulty. Gonzalo Montiel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Saul Oihan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When A dos Toques's Gonzalo Montiel in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Villaguay FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gonzalo Montiels short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Saul Oihan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Villaguay FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
