Cipriano Kismi's late challenge caught a Santa Clara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eulalio Cresencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Manex having to interfere. Erasmo Medina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Iban in the 26th minute of play. Niceto Iban struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Erasmo Medina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dopamina Social Club. Delmiro Cordero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Medina having to interfere. In the 32ndth minute of the game Niceto Iban who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santa Clara's Erasmo Medina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edgardo Manex didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Barea went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Cresencio in the 39th minute of play forced Dopamina Social Club's goalkeeper Edgardo Manex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eulalio Cresencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Orlando Salomon fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dopamina Social Club's protests and gave Orlando Salomon a yellow card for diving instead. Orlando Salomon hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Santa Clara's Constantino Lluterio tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Erasmo Medina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Cordero, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The referee ignored Santa Clara's protests and gave Constantino Lluterio a yellow card for diving instead. Marco Barea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Manex having to interfere. Edgardo Manex showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Barea in the 75th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes Dopamina Social Club got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Cordero. If Eulalio Cresencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. After 90 played minutes Marco Barea rounded Dopamina Social Club's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. The Santa Clara players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
