Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) RC Futbol's Pastor Gaitan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, Teo Caradaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RC Futbol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villaguay FC the free kick. Teo Caradaro hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. A collision led to Villaguay FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Angelino Leizarraga hit a great ball. Fabio Eneko received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Saul Oihan came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabio Eneko slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. The supporters of Villaguay FC booed when RC Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Caradaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfonso Handi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Lopez in the 17th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Pastor Gaitan lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Saul Oihan. Pastor Gaitan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pastor Gaitan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Oihan having to interfere. If Pastor Gaitan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Cesario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfonso Handi was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Fabio Eneko charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabio Eneko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd minute, Fabio Eneko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfonso Handi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Cesario, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Sebastian Cesario scored 2-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfonso Handi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pastor Gaitan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saul Oihan having to make a save. Hermengildo Jeraldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Saul Oihan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Angelino Leizarraga made the kick off in the second half. Pastor Gaitan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Villaguay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Gaitan came free, but Saul Oihan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pastor Gaitan struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Saul Oihan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RC Futbol. Astor Nevada kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in RC Futbol's zone, Silvio Lopez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Handi came out of the goal and Silvio Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfonso Handi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Leizarraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, RC Futbol's Astor Nevada got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 74th minute Angelino Leizarraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Handi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes RC Futbol's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Silvio Lopez who took care of the corner kick. Villaguay FC's Saul Oihan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Gaitan in the 87th minute of play. Pastor Gaitan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saul Oihan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Gaitan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. RC Futbol fully deserved thier win.
