Daniel Chan kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Leonel Ruisko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serafino Argi. Iguana FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonel Ruisko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Leonel Ruisko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute, Arturo Firman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Robustiano Liberto came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Iguana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robustiano Liberto couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Herminio Montae's late challenge caught a Colmena's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herminio Montae helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, Iguana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Montae to maneuver through the defense. Leonel Ruisko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Serafino Argi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Iguana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Mateo came free, but Serafino Argi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonel Ruisko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafino Argi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play.
