In the 13th minute, Aquilino Giro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Xeneizes del Oeste getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Lisandro Tomi hit a great ball. Aquilino Giro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Asier having to interfere. If Arturo Firman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafin Esiquio kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Aquilino Giro took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Santo Asier to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Iguana FC's zone, Wilfredo Argina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafino Argi came out of the goal and Wilfredo Argina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edelmiro Cristos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilfredo Argina got free with Serafino Argi in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Robustiano Liberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iguana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Robustiano Liberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Asier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute, Arturo Firman made a precise shot to the right of Santo Asier. Xeneizes del Oeste's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Santo Asier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Firman in the 68th minute of the match. After 72 minutes, Robustiano Liberto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iguana FC and the Xeneizes del Oeste players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Xeneizes del Oeste booed when Iguana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Liberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Wilfredo Argina managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 81st minute Edelmiro Cristos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Argi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 played minutes Iguana FC got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Montae. Edelmiro Cristos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Argi having to interfere. Daniel Chan's late challenge caught a Xeneizes del Oeste's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The score was now 2-1. Iguana FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
